Moses was one of the great leaders of the Old Testament. He had 80 years of training before leading the people of Israel out of the bondage of Egypt: 40 years in Egypt and 40 years in the wilderness. During the time of Elijah and Elisha there were prophetic schools. Jesus Christ, the greatest leader of all time, spent 30 years in this world before starting His public ministry.
Jesus chose twelve disciples and gave them three and a half years of training. After training them, He commissioned them to go and preach the gospel and make disciples of all nations. The mission of Kerala Theological Seminary is to communicate the gospel of Jesus Christ to every person in India by sending out well-trained national workers to glorify God.
Our aim is to see that men and women get solid biblical training so that they know the Lord Jesus Christ more fully and intimately and follow His teaching and to fulfill the Great Commission. Kerala Theological Seminary is committed to impart vision for world mission and train people to transform the world through Jesus Christ.
The seminary is committed to providing a healthy campus atmosphere through hostel life, prayer groups, fellowship, recreation, sports, and spiritual activities that encourage growth in character and ministry.
Chapel is the nucleus of theological education. Students gather for intercessory prayer, missionary chapel, worship, meditation, and spiritual emphasis meetings throughout the week.
Students are grouped into small spiritual formation groups under faculty mentors who guide and encourage them during their time on campus.
The seminary provides a quality hostel environment that encourages community living, fellowship, and spiritual growth.
Applicants for the Bachelor of Divinity programme must have proficiency in the English language. Candidates must also be at least 18 years of age before admission.
